PROGRAMS

Our  communities are currently being challenged by a variety of issues that are creating struggles for our youth related to mental health.

Brain Garden is a monthly collaboration with Cainegels Connection Inc. and is hosted by Jenell Hilderbrand and Adele Craft.

Tune in to hear inspiring conversations about Mental Wellness with our local students. The conversations will dig deep into topics like anxiety, depression, addiction, self harm, and self care. Learn about solutions and actions we can all take to make a positive impact in our communities. Listen in on  the fourth Wednesday of the month at 4PM.

Kids Corner is a monthly family radio hour created by kids, for kids. Families with young children, and anyone who is young at heart can tune in to hear read-aloud books, poetry recitals, and songs performed by student musicians. Follow along with art project prompts, find family focused events through our family calendar, and complete our monthly family challenge. Each show will focus on a different theme, such as seasons, mountains, music, and more.

The Kids Corner show is created by a weekly class of six elementary school students from Rifle to Basalt on the Western Slope of Colorado and hosted by the Andy Zanca Youth Empowerment Program’s project coordinator, Adele Craft. Tune in with your family on the first Sunday of each month from 3 to 4PM.

Dimensions in Diversity is geared toward LGBTQ+ youth in the Roaring Fork Valley. This show highlights the successes, challenges and stigmas facing queer youth and is supported by Gay For Good Rocky Mountains and sponsored by AspenOUT.
